De Haro Ramirez Group was founded in 1999 by Marco Ramirez, a second generation concrete contractor in the San Francisco Bay Area. Marco has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Chico State University and has over 30 years of construction experience as an apprentice cement mason, project engineer, and project manager working for general contractors and as an independent subcontractor. After earning his degree, Marco spent several years working as an estimator and project manager in the government, military, and public works sectors. The construction boom of the late 1990s offered the impetus to create a very successful and respected concrete construction company.
With an initial focus directed at DSA/Public Works projects, De Haro Ramirez Group has flourished and transformed into a company of skilled craftsmen and experienced managers accepting the challenge of shaping San Francisco’s ever-changing concrete landscape.
